Mobil Serv Cylinder Condition Monitoring, ExxonMobil’s next-generation onboard scrape down oil analysis service, has evolved. It continues to provide detailed engine data that can identify issues such as under- and over-lubrication, component wear and the presence of cat fines.

However, we have now added new features that help give vessel operators further confidence that your engines are operating without problems. It can now detect:

  • The presence of chromium and vanadium, which can be an indicator of engine component wear
  • System oil dilution of your cylinder oil, which can have a detrimental impact on engine performance and lifespan

Mobil Serv Cylinder Condition Monitoring helps ensure that your engine is performing safely and reliably while also helping you realise cost savings. The service delivers day-to-day peace of mind and the assurance that your vessel operations are efficient and compliant, now and in the future.
