ExxonMobil adds barge capacity to Le Havre Port 2000 and Zeebrugge

ExxonMobil has added a bunker barge to its Le Havre Port (France) offer that will extend marine gas oil (MGO) deliveries to the Port 2000 terminal. We have also added four estuary barges in Zeebrugge (Belgium) that will predominantly handle 0.50% sulphur fuels. These additions will help ensure our customers have access to the fuel they need, where they need it.

The Le Havre barge, M/V New Jersey, is already in operation and has a capacity of 2,900 metric tons. The new service was introduced to meet the requirements of customers who need to bunker MGO, a low-sulphur fuel option in compliance with the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) global sulphur cap.

The addition of Zeebrugge expands ExxonMobil’s direct sales network for 0.50% sulphur fuels. Ports already announced include Antwerp, Rotterdam, Genoa and Marseille in Europe, along with Singapore and Thailand.
